Amani Homeownership Initiative (TID No. 136)

Spoke on behalf of the Community Development Alliance in support of the Amani initiative and explained Habitat's and Emem's affordability mechanisms, including deed restrictions.

The Emem Group principal described his organization's lease-to-own model, operation with Lutheran Social Services, and deed-restricted resale requirements.

Habitat for Humanity's representative described the organization's construction funding and planned fundraising campaign; TID proceeds cover about 40% of the funding gap.
